Corporate Events & Incentives in Amsterdam
Canals, culture and world-class venues — 20 minutes from Schiphol
Amsterdam is one of Europe's most attractive cities for corporate events, and for good reason. Schiphol Airport connects the city to over 300 destinations, the historic centre is compact enough to walk or cycle, and the venue offer runs from 17th-century canal mansions and museums to industrial warehouses on the IJ. As a DMC based in Amsterdam, One Event handles everything on the ground: venues, transport, hotels, experiences and on-site coordination.
Why Amsterdam for your next corporate event
International groups feel at home in Amsterdam. English is spoken everywhere, hotel capacity is strong across every category, and the city's creative, open atmosphere works for conferences, product launches, incentives and leadership meetings alike. Most venues, hotels and restaurants are within a 15-minute transfer of each other, which keeps programmes efficient and budgets under control.
Venues we work with in Amsterdam
Over 15 years we have built direct relationships with the venues that matter: Het Scheepvaartmuseum and its glass-covered courtyard for gala dinners, the Koepelkerk dome for plenary sessions and dinners, the Beurs van Berlage and RAI Amsterdam for congresses, canal-side mansions on the Herengracht and Keizersgracht for private dinners, and the NDSM wharf for large-scale creative productions. We source, negotiate and manage the contract for you.
Signature experiences
Private canal boat rallies through the UNESCO canal ring, cycling scavenger hunts, cooking battles with Dutch seasonal produce, vintage tram rides through the city, private museum openings and Dutch cheese and jenever tastings. Every activity is adapted to your group size, profile and objectives.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best time of year for a corporate event in Amsterdam?
April to October offers the best weather and outdoor options, with tulip season in April and long summer evenings from June to August. Autumn and winter are quieter, with better venue and hotel availability and attractive rates for conferences and gala dinners.
How far in advance should we book venues in Amsterdam?
For groups above 100 delegates we recommend 6 to 9 months, especially for spring and September dates. Smaller groups can often be organised within 8 to 12 weeks. As a local DMC we can check availability across our venue network within 48 hours.
Can One Event handle the full programme, including hotels and transfers?
Yes. We manage venue sourcing, hotel contracting, airport and group transfers, restaurants, activities, AV production and multilingual on-site staff, so you have a single local point of contact for the whole programme.
